Holiday Times Draw Near! Some pointers on how to be more merry!

It’s that time of the year again! Great food, friends, family, times and memories! As we are at the twilight of the year it is a time to reflect on what we have done in the past year and how we all have grown.  It is time to let go of the old, allow the new to come in and to focus on the new year ahead.

So when your celebrating your holiday keep some things in mind if your taking those photos with either your “point and shoot” camera or your smart phone camera.

  1. Try to catch people at their happiest.  This is the season to be happy so show it via your photos.  Catch your friends and family having fun, singing, or even opening that special gift that you know that they will love.
  2. Arrange group shots of friends and family.  As the years go on, we at times may drift apart from others.  These memories will remind you and others of the good times and may bring a smile to someones day!
  3. Catch children doing what they do best…….being children.  Nothing more says fun seeing a child playing with a new toy, or with other friends and family and being happy.
  4. Be thoughtful when getting family and friend shots, try to make sure that all family and friends are included.  The last thing that you want is to forget someone from the shots.
  5. Be respectful on posting and tagging people in your holiday photos.  Someone that is more than happy to take a photo by you may not want to be tagged in the photo.  If your planning to post the pictures (as most people do) online be considerate and ask the person if it is ok to tag them in the photo.

Be safe out there! Drink and party responsible! and most of all have fun!
